Do I have the right version of Disco?
The current release is Disco 4.0.8.
Disco will auto-update when you are connected to the internet, to make sure you are always getting the best performance and the latest bug fixes. Of course, you can also download the latest release from here and install it manually.
We maintain 3 versions of Disco:
Disco for Windows
If you are running any version of Microsoft Windows, this is the Disco release you want.
Disco for macOS (Intel)
Until recently, most Macs have used Intel processors. If you are in doubt, or if your Mac is more than a year old, chances are this is the Disco version you need.
Disco for macOS (Apple Silicon)
In late 2020, Apple started releasing Macs based on their Apple Silicon processor architecture. You may know these as "M1", "Apple Silicon", or "Arm" processors. If you have one of these newer Macs, and you want the best performance, you will want to use this version of Disco.
