The new winter look has arrived 7

Our website just got a complete makeover! We are quite proud of the result, most of all because we think that that the new site much better reflects what we want to do.

website 2.0

See what you think: www.fluxicon.com. And let us know if you have anything to say about it! Feedback is always appreciated.

Because we are still busy with the development of our product, we created a survey with 6 brief questions to get a better feel for what people actually need. It would be great if you could spare 2 minutes to give us your answers here.

We can’t give you any incentive other than: It’s really quick, can be done anonymously, and you can help to make the world a better place :-)

Anne, I just happened to think today “I wonder what the processmining folks are up to?” And then I saw the link for Fluxicon. And now I see that your web site was just newly updated today. I just thought it was a fun coincidence, and I thought I should tell you about it. That’s it … John Patton

John! Funny indeed. Thanks for the comment. On first sight, I thought that your website was new to me. But then I saw the ‘Learning to love probability density functions’ tutorial and realized that I had seen that one before. I am a big fan of graphical, animation-like tutorials. We should make one for process mining as well..

Well, what can I say: Wow!

It looks very slick, professional yet personal and tempting: makes me want to do business with you (if I could).

This website is a very good business card in my opinion!

Good luck!!! (you can never have enough)

Joos (master student, TU/e)

PS: this is not a sponsored post.

Hi Joos,

thanks so much for your kind words!

By the way: We like your blog a lot! Keep up the good work, and best of luck with your master project!

Christian

Anne,

I should have added Good Luck!

Also, can you say a few words as to how Fluxicon will likely differ from Futura?

John

John,

Thanks!

It’s a legitimate question but a bit too early to say how our product will differ from Futura’s. Let me first say that we greatly respect their work and wish Peter and his team all the best. However, our approaches are indeed a little different, and our tools are likely to benefit different kinds of users.

We are currently busy shaping our tool, and things are changing so rapidly that anything I’d tell you now would probably be wrong next week ;-) Anyway, we hope that we can tell all of you more about what it will be like soon. Watch this space for updates on our progress.

In the end, it will be our customers that are going to decide what our tool will look like. We strongly believe in listening to actual users, and we want to build the perfect tool for them. Push us in the right direction by filling out our survey: http://fluxicon.com/products/ :-)

Anne & Christian,

Great Site. Like the photos especially. Good luck with it!

George
